Perhaps in its effort for automotive market domination—from environmental (e.g., the Fusion Hybrid) to the urban (e.g., about to be explained here)—Ford has announced that Grammy-winning hip-hop performer Nelly will be featuring a tricked out—via the folks at DUB magazine—2011 Mustang GT. It features a gloss black exterior paint job, flat black racing stripes, and 22-in. Pirelli P Zero Neros in the front and 24s in the back. The car also has a Street Scenes body kit, billet grille, hoop scoop, tinted taillights, angel eyes headlights, and a Borla exhaust.

The car and the star will be part of the artwork for Nelly’s new disc, Let’s Get It, which is to drop this spring.

We’re wondering if the folks at Ford might be a little concerned that Nelly might rhyme with the Mustang the way that he does with a Merc in “Ride Wit Me,” the lyrics of which we can’t provide here lest we get caught up in a spam filter.
