We’d like to take a break from some of the seemingly relentlessly serious coverage that we’ve had here to talk about something more basic: mice. No, not as in rodents. Rather, as in that thing that you have on your desk nearby your computer.

This, surprisingly enough, is a fully functioning computer mouse:

Yes, that’s right, it looks like a Ford GT, but works just like that thing that is a blob-like beige, gray or otherwise not terribly exciting thing that you move the cursor around with.

Called—not surprisingly—Road Mice, they are PC and Mac compatible and are available wired or wireless.

What’s more, in addition to the Ford GT, there are the Mustang, Camaro, Charger, Corvette, and even the Lamborghini Murcielago and Jaguar XKR. Four Door Media, which develops these products, signed an agreement last week with Carroll Shelby/Carroll Shelby Licensing so that there are Shelby replicas coming in the near future.

If you can’t buy the car, at least you can drive the mouse.
