High-Performing, Energy-Efficient 2D Laser Cutter

A 2D CO² laser cutter capable of operating with a maximum power output of 4,500 watts, the Mitsubishi Laser eX, is now offered by MC Machinery Systems. The machine features Mitsubishi’s three-axis, cross-flow resonator technology, which helps deliver a sharp beam and optimize cutting power. Not only is the machine 1.4x more productive than it predecessors, but it features an eco mode that cuts operating costs by 90% and reduces CO² emissions by 30% during standby, compared to similar laser cutters.

The eX features a 122 x 61 x 5.9-in. (X, Y, Z) work envelope and can handle workpieces up to 120.1 x 60 in. and 2,050 lb. Maximum feedrate is 1,970 ipm. A chain-driven pallet changer swaps pallets in about 30 seconds.
