FARO’s CAM2 Measure 10 software for the FaroArm, ScanArm and Laser Tracker, allows non-contact part scanning to collect point cloud data for reverse engineering, rapid prototyping and analysis. Previous CAM2 releases only included hard probing features. This release incorporates measurement via probing methods, scanning and point cloud capture into one package.

Other new features in the release include:

-Live Color Scan: For use with the ScanArm, it highlights deviations during scanning to identify inconsistencies and increase efficiency.

-Shortcuts: Create commands to obtain measurement data that were previously only able to be acquired through a series of steps.

-Easy Move Wizard: Simplifies measurement of large parts when frequent repositioning is required.

-Repeated Part Measurement: Simplifies measurement of multiple parts using QuickTools programming by developing part programs and recording the steps of the first measurement.

-Remote Measurement: Run commands and observe results on an iPhone or iPad.
