More to the point, Laurens Van Den Acker, senior vice president of Renault Corporate Design, says, “We have heighted the new Twingo’s sensuous styling and seductive appeal”—clearly Paris is rubbing off on the Dutch-born designer—“marking a return to Twigo’s original personality. We have also given the front end the brand’s new design identity, which will be seen on all our new models.”

Speaking of geography: the Twingo is produced at the Renault Novo mesto plant in Slovenia, where the company also builds its Clio 2 and Wind models. The plant is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified, which speaks to its quality and environmental responsibility.

Two things that can make one optimistic.
