Renault Reveals FRENDZY

While it is unlikely to be confused with Hitchcock’s 1972 thriller, Renault has developed a new concept vehicle, the FRENDZY.

While it is unlikely to be confused with Hitchcock’s 1972 thriller, Renault has developed a new concept vehicle, the FRENDZY. It will be shown at the 64th Frankfurt Motor Show this fall. The FRENDZY is an electric vehicle that uses lithium-ion batteries. It is designed either as a passenger hauler or for vocational use. The interface for the instrument panel is done in collaboration with Research in Motion—as in “BlackBerry”—so it seems as if the Apple OS and Android haven’t taken over the planet (yet).
