Pirelli Tires and Then Some

If you were to overhear some people talking about “Pirelli PZERO” you’d think that they talking about the tire originally developed in 1987 for the Ferrari F40, right?

If you were to overhear some people talking about “Pirelli PZERO” you’d think that they talking about the tire originally developed in 1987 for the Ferrari F40, right?

And you’d be wrong.

Not that it is necessarily your fault.

Because while the tire is the P Zero, Pirelli PZERO is a design and fashion brand that produces products ranging from shoes to skis, handbags to boats.

And, yes, there is something tire-like in many cases.

Recently the company released new footwear from Italian fashion designer Diego Dolcini, a new motorcycle boot and a strapped sandal. In descriptive verbiage from Pirelli, “With material and imagery inherent to the Pirelli brand, Dolcini executes a vision that embodies urban glamour: extreme femininity for the concrete jungle.”

All of which goes to show you that you can’t necessarily believe what you hear.
