While we understand that much of the attention of the automotive world is focused on the Paris Motor Show, we’d like to point out something that is a little less sophisticated, and altogether cool: sketches of the vehicle that Hyundai and ARK Performance will be showing at the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
Based on the Genesis Coupe R-Spec model, ARK is amping things way up, as in getting 395 hp @ 6,800 rpm and 340 lb-ft of torque @ 5,400 rpm out of the 3.8-liter direct-injection engine. ARK is adding elements to the engine (including ceramic-coated headers), transmission (e.g., carbon-plate clutch kit), brakes (carbon brake pads), etc., as well as to the inside and out, with a plethora of carbon fiber body panels.
While it may not be as, um, elegant as what’s on display in Paris, it is no less provocative.
What’s more, if you go to SEMA, you can go to Paris, too.
