Metal finishers and suppliers from around the Southeast gathered recently for three days in Myrtle Beach, SC, for the fifth annual Myrtle Beach Technical Conference, “Race to the Finish,” sponsored by NASF Palmetto Branch.

In addition to hearing from speakers on a variety of topics, conferees took advantage of the opportunity to network with tabletop sponsors, enjoy social get-togethers and local restaurant cuisine, and have some relaxing fun at the annual golf outings.

Jeff Hannapel of The Policy Group in Washington, D.C. was keynote speaker, and updated the conference on NASF member activities and on various EPA regulatory priorities, particularly those involving chromium regulations.
