Moldmakers Make it Happen at amerimold 2014

This year's event highlighted North American mold builders in a more prominent way than years past simply by the increased number of moldmaking exhibitors showcasing their capabilities. Several moldmaking exhibitors stated that attendees walked into the amerimold and directly to their booths looking for North American mold builders!

Cavalier Tool (pictured above) of Ontario, Canada--a shop “in the know” when it comes to available products and services--commented on the valuable "face time” with other exhibitors that this event provided, which helps them maintain strong relationships.  Cavalier not only exhibited, but participated in the technical conference program. President Brian Bendig was a presenter on a technology panel and shared his lessons learned when it comes to implementing technology.

Westminster Tool of Plainfield, Connecticut--MoldMaking Technology's 2014 Leadtime Leader Award Winnner--landed a serious lead the first morning of the event. They stated that the quality of attendees that visited their was "impressive". They had the opportunity to talk to key decision makers who were interested in expanding their current tooling supplier base, as well as networking with industry professionals. They reserved a space for Amerimold 2015 before they left!

Canada's Aalbers Tool and Mold--MMT's 2014 Leadtime Leader Honorable Mention--enjoyed the added exposure on the exhibit floor.

Crest Mold Technology of Canada was thrilled that the event highlighted North American mold builders. They believe that it brought a lot of attendees right to their booth looking for NA builders.

Creative Blow Mold Tooling of Lee's Summit, Missouri said amerimold was very well attended. According to the company, "The technical conference sessions on both days were meaningful, of interest and well delivered.  The exhibit hall at the Novi Convention Center had a great layout for traffic flow, which made it easy for Expo attendee’s to spend time in the exhibitor’s displays.  Also noted was the the Knowledge Centers that added a valuable format in a casual environment for expanding learning opportunities.  There was a lot of interest from show attendee’s to connect with vendors, discuss the quality needed and meet supply-chain deadlines."

Rockford, Illinois-based Industrial Molds Group kept busy at their booth.

And, Linear Mold & Engineering of Livonia, Michigan capitalized on their booth presence by also offering tours to its nearby facility during the event. They were very happy with the traffic both days of the show, and returned with a large quantity of qualified leads. They are already looking forward to next year’s show in Chicago.
