If you have 20 minutes to spare, here is a great video I came across of Mike Rowe who challenges many of the "notions of work" we possess and how they just might be wrong. And how they have definitely helped us wage a war on work on four fronts: in Hollywood, on Madison Avenue, in Washington and in Silicon Valley. He takes a look at the happiness of those who do "dirty jobs" and the balance they have in their lives while at the same time examines the effects of the marginalization of so many jobs. He simply suggests that hard work needs a solid PR campaign, emphasizing the forgotten benefits of hard work. It's worth the watch. Click here.
