Honda Manufacturing of Indiana’s plant in Greensburg, IN, last week started shipping Civic sedans to Mexico, and 22 Latin American and Caribbean nations and U.S. territories. The plant, Honda’s seventh assembly plant in North America (and one of 16 manufacturing facilities in North America—and there are two more presently under construction in North Carolina), has been mass producing Civics since November 2008. The engines that go under the hoods are sourced from the Honda engine plant in Anna, Ohio.
